reflection

This week has flown by and time seems to be passing SO quickly!  I turned 25 this past Monday and had a wonderful birthday.  I got to spend time with some great friends and my amazing family.  It feels so strange to be this age.  It always seemed so far off and now it has come and I find that I'm not where I thought I would be in life.  I'm somewhere better.  Precisely in the middle of God's perfect plan.

I'll admit that if it were up to me I might be living somewhere else, working somewhere else and on a different path in general.  Thank God He is the one in control and I'm not.  He knows what I need and the precise moment at which I need it.  I'm learning how beautiful life can be when I rely on Him and put Christ at the center.  I am so blessed to know Jesus.  I pray that I can reflect God's light on those around me and that He will use me to share His love with those in my life here as well as the people of Ethiopia.
